Being able to manage construction and renovation projects is a key component of success as a golf course superintendent. Almost every course has some sort of ongoing renovation or master plan as time goes on. I have been directly associated with numerous projects both large and small, with in-house staff and hired contractors.

Most recently at Admirals Cove, we have undergone numerous projects that were completed with much praise. These include:

+ Completed renovation of the 27 holes of the Golf Village course

+ Converted the tee, fairway, approach and rough playing surfaces to Celebration

+ Installed new USGA greens with Tif Eagle

+ New RainBird IC irrigation system installed with HDPE

+ Imported 68,000 cu yards of dirt for elevation
